One of the most important things in business is communication; not just communication, but constant and clear communication. So, the question is, how do you keep up with your business contact?

  • Hire Some To Organize Your Schedule – some people are not cut out to organize things and it’s better to assign someone to do that for you. This way, you’ll have more time to actually get things done than trying to organize and remember stuff. So, when I hire someone, I make it up to a point that they have that skill that I don’t. They have to be organized and it’s not like that I feel that they should, I just know that it’s a weak part on my end and it just helps.
  • Use Tools – right now, we use Buzzstream (a web-based software that helps the marketers promote their products, services and content to build links, buzz, and brands.) for our business contacts which works pretty well. And I think it’s just having an end goal in mind and a system.
  • Have A Plan – if you want something from someone, then make a plan on how to reach that.  Make a plan on how to deal with stuff and eventualities. Like right now, in our outreach, we have a structure so it make things easier and organized.

In the documentary, we have someone that said “The key to success is to do what you’re best at and leave everything else to someone else.” This is a good mantra to stick to. Also, one of the things that causes problem is when someone tries to do everything and in the end, it turns out they can’t do it. In the end, you just have do what you can do and get help if you need to.
